Equipping and mobilizing PBC members to make disciples among those in physical and spiritual need in our community

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45

Several times a year, PBC mobilizes its members to serve its community in a variety of ways. LOVE OUT LOUD is a collection of projects and initiatives that celebrate the year-round service of PBC and excellent work of our partner organizations. We visit nursing homes, prayerwalk our neighborhoods, throw block parties, and more!

Work As Worship

“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven”

Matthew 5:16

Most Christians think of worship as something they do inside the church. However, God shows us in His word that he meant for our whole lives to be an act of worship. We were placed at our jobs to glorify Him and bring others to Himself. As PBC seeks to Exalt, Equip, and Evangelize, we do not forget the place where a large section of our lives takes place is OUTSIDE THE CHURCH. In fact, 39 out of the 40 miracles that take place in the book of Acts, took place outside the church. Therefore, it is our goal to reach our neighborhood with the Gospel not by telling folks to "come and see" but by Going and Telling.

How will you reach out to your neighbors, friends and co-workers? Here is a suggested list from our friends at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.

B – Begin with prayer

L – Listen to your neighbor

E – Eat a meal together

S – Serve your neighbor

S – Share and listen to each others' stories
