CHILDREN

Partnering with Parents to Make Disciples

JESUS. That’s who PBC Kids is all about. Our team, our space, our schedule, our stuff… all of it is focused on how best to lead children to know, love and follow God’s Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process.

NURSERY

Our Nursery shares the love of Christ with children from infants to two years of age and provides the loving care they deserve in a secure environment.

Safety Procedures

Your child’s safety is important to us. That’s why all children must be checked in by a parent using the check-in stations located beside the nursery entrance. One of our volunteers will be happy to assist you.

You’ll receive a name tag for your child and a pager for you. You must show your corresponding pager in order to pick up your child from his/her classroom.

Our children’s leaders are trained and have undergone an extensive interview and background process.

Placing Your Child in Nursery Care

Parents and siblings are asked not to enter the Nursery classrooms. Children are received by staff members at the door. We will page you if your child is unable to be comforted.

What To Bring

Please include the following labeled items in your diaper bag:

  • 3-4 diapers

  • Pre-mixed bottles (Due to the number of children within Nursery care, it’s impossible to spoon feed them. Please plan accordingly.)

  • Pacifier

  • Complete change of clothes

If Your Child Is Sick

If your children show the following symptoms, please do not bring them to the Nursery. Children should be free from these symptoms for at least 24 hours: fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, common cold, excessive cough, childhood diseases, chicken pox, heavy nasal discharge, unexplained rash, skin infection, eye inflammation or discharge, or head lice. Providence Baptist Church is dedicated providing a safe and fun environment.
