A Weighty but Wonderful Commitment
Why Membership Matters
Does it really matter if I’m a member or not? Why do I have to take a class to even become a member? People often ask these questions about our membership process, skeptical as to why there seem to be so many “hoops” to jump through.

It’s true. We take membership seriously and with a lot of gravity. Committing yourself to a body of believers is weighty. But it’s also wonderful. When Members join, they commit to a spiritual family that provides encouragement and support. They are called to a biblical degree of responsibility, service, and sacrifice to their brothers and sisters. Our leaders also pledge to assist our Members with care, counsel, prayer and teaching.
DISCOVERY CLASS

DISCOVERY is a process we’ve designed specifically to help connect you to PBC. If you’ve been visiting and want to learn more about the PBC and covenant membership, DISCOVERY is the next step you need to take.
During DISCOVERY, you’ll get a chance to meet your pastor and learn about what kind of church we are. You will also be able to ask any questions you might have, such as “What does it mean to be a Christ follower?” “How can I be baptized?” “How can I serve at the church?” or “How do I connect to a small group?”
In addition, you will learn how to get involved in making disciples – in your home, across the street, and around the world.

You are welcome to attend the workshop for informational purposes only; there is no requirement to commit to membership.
